Shocking footage shows youths hurling racial abuse at a man on a tram in Manchester

Shocking video which emerged on Tuesday morning shows three apparently drunk youths shouting hurling racial abuse and shouting at a man to "Get back to Africa' on a tram in Manchester.

According to Manchester Evening News, the man, who spoke with a foreign accent had asked the young men to stop using bad language as they were frightening other passengers.

The youths responded by hurling abuses at the man, telling his to "get back to Africa," Get off the tram now. Bro, I 'll waste you. I 'll waste anyone and Dont chat sh*t when you are not even from England, you little f***king immigrant"

The man, whose nationality was not mentioned, asked how old the youth is, "18,19? I 've been here longer than you".

The youths at one point flick the drink at the man, splashing him and several passengers. They were later chased off the tram, with passengers yelling at them, "You're a disgrace to England".

A woman who was on the tram, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "When I was there I knew it was going to get serious. This kind of incident is really happening. It needs to be noticed we don’t want these kind of incidents happening. The three men got off the tram at Market Street and it stopped there. The women on the tram started crying. It was really horrible. When I was walking back to my work I was crying all the way. I couldn’t control myself. I was feeling sad, I now feel scared coming to work. They were three boys, they weren’t very old. I am scared of travelling on my own, I feel scared for my children that it is not safe, I will not take them on the tram."

Chief Inspector Gareth Parkin of Greater Manchester Police City said: "This is a disgusting display of abuse which quite frankly has no place in society. All hate incidents are treated with the utmost severity and this behaviour will not be tolerated in Greater Manchester."

Video: Cristiano Ronaldo selfie pitch invader earns Portugal UEFA fine

A Portugal fan who ran on the field to get a selfie with Cristiano Ronaldo will cost his national football federation a fine, UEFA has announced.

UEFA says it has opened a disciplinary case against the Portuguese federation for a "field invasion."

UEFA holds national teams responsible for the behaviour of their fans inside a stadium.

The man ran across half the field from behind one goal at Parc des Princes after Portugal drew 0-0 with Austria on Saturday.

The fan who invaded the pitch during Portugal's game against Austria apparently wanted to get a selfie with Cristiano Ronaldo.

He caught up with Ronaldo near the halfway line, and Ronaldo gestured to a security official to stay back until the fan got the picture before the fan was led away.

Meanwhile, UEFA has charged the Hungarian football federation for fan disorder inside the stadium during their match against Iceland in Marseille and charges over the setting off of fireworks and throwing of objects have also been levelled at the Royal Belgian Football Association after their 3-0 victory over Republic of Ireland.

Watch Video: 2 arrested in murder of 13-year-old boy whose abduction was caught on video

Two men, have been arrested in connection with the abduction and murder of a 13-year-old Detroit boy. Deontae Mitchell’s body was found in a field on Detroit’s eastside on yesterday Thursday June 2nd, two days after he was abducted at gun point outside a grocery store.

Deontae and a cousin rode their bikes to the grocery store on the city’s eastside to buy chips and drinks, according to reports. Deontae’s cousin told police the teen had picked up money dropped by 45-year-old Gregory Walker, who was urinating against an exterior wall of the grocery store.

Surveillance video footage from the grocery store shows Walker, holding a nickel-plated revolver, grabbing Deontae by the arm and shove him into the rear passenger side of a black Chevy Impala.

The car was later found abandoned near I-94 on the eastside.

After the video was aired repeatedly on the news, Walker was arrested without incident early Thursday in Toledo, Ohio. A female acquaintance who was with him was also taken into custody.

Hours later, police arrested Ernest Coleman as a suspect in the boy’s death

A 3rd suspect, Roy Portis, 51, remains on the loose. He is described as a black male, 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds.

“This should be a message to all who perpetrate crimes against children: we’re going to continue in a very relentless way to find you and bring you into custody,” police chief James Craig said. “We’re talking about a defenseless child. An adult male with a gun. Once again, another coward preying on children that needs to stop.”
